It uses a constellation of between 24 and 32 Medium Earth Orbit satellites that transmit precise microwave signals, that enable GPS receivers to determine their current location, the time, and their velocity (including direction). The GPS helps provide information on latitude, longitude, course and speed of our entire fleet with great precision, both nationally and internationally. The vehicle receives signals from GPS satellites and retransmitted to our central monitoring station to display the required information in real time on a computer screen.
